What is early aging and how can you prevent it?

Did you know 90% of early aging can be prevented? Yep, its estimated that only 10% of early aging is a result of genetics and up to 90% is caused by external factors. These and other environmental causes can be limited, isn't that great news?!

Whether you are trying to prevent aging down the road or if you are already noticing more signs of fast aging on your body, these tips can help prevent further damage and maybe even reverse the aging that has already been happening inside and outside of your body by feeding your cells some youth!

What are the external factors that lead to wrinkles, skin spots, brittle hair and nails, dull eyes, skin and hair and all of the other symptoms we see with early aging? Mostly free radicals are caused by things like too much sun exposure, stress, pollution, drugs, processed foods and chemical exposure. The more exposure you have to these, the more free radicals you most likely have in your body. Scientifically speaking, free radicals are missing an electron which they then damage cells in search of. The damaged cells are what on the outside of our body shows up as aging. So, if we limit our exposure, we will have less aging! And, if we can give the free radicals an extra electron, even better! One way to do that is with antioxidants because they carry extra electrons. Antioxidants can be ingested or applied topically to slow down the aging process. Foods and skincare products with antioxidants are a great way to prevent and slow down aging. And then to further add extra nutrients to reduce aging signs our bodies need a full spectrum of minerals to maintain the health of our cells which will then show outwardly as youthful skin, hair and nails. Certain foods and skincare products also have ingredients known to improve cell health like honey, coconut, pineapple and papaya. Foods rich in protein, collagen, omegas and healthy fat also help the health of your hair, skin and nails.

We recommend increasing your intake of foods high in antioxidants, animal protein, omegas and balanced fat. Plus finding an organic, natural skincare routine with the ingredients listed above. And finally, become mineral sufficient through diet and earth practices or supplementation.

We’ll leave you with an example of an anti-aging fruit smoothie:

Coconut milk + collagen powder + honey + MineralRich with mix-ins:

Berries, banana, avocado, walnuts, cocoa powder, ground flax seeds, plain whole-fat organic yogurt.

Blend and enjoy!
